About Baker Street Quarter
Baker Street Quarter recently achieved Business Improvement District status which enables the organisation to expand and drive forward a new range of programmes in line with the aspirations and objectives of businesses in the area.
We are working to sustain and upgrade the locality, to create a high-quality, thriving area for all those working, visiting and living here and to support those who operate here. Our projects are broad ranging and include improvements to Baker Street Station; Food Markets; projects to deter crime and anti-social behaviour; an area directory, app and Privilege Card; a free recycling service; and a programme assisting businesses to give time and resources to local charities and community groups.
Person Specification
You have comprehensive knowledge and experience of marketing and communications techniques and brand management. You are a strong project manager with the ability to build effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
About The Role
You will ensure the development and implementation of an effective and efficient marketing and communications strategy. This strategy will ensure our businesses are fully informed of how they can get involved and benefit from our projects and services and will also promote the Baker Street Quarter area. You will use a range of marketing tools and related projects to benefit local businesses and raise the profile of Baker Street Quarter BID including a website, social media, app, directory, events and a privilege card. You will actively consult businesses in relation to our projects and services.
