Truck crashes into CBN (Read)

An articulate vehicle on Friday crashed into the premises of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in Jos. The vehicle with registration EPL 756 XD crashed into the CBN building at 6:30 am and destroyed over 70 per cent of its goods.

The vehicle was packed on the road side leading to the CBN building by the Plateau Teaching Hospital when it rolled and crashed into the building. An eyewitness said the driver was taking sleeping in the vehicle when the incident occurred and all his efforts to ignite the vehicle proved abortive. The driver lost control as the steering and breaking system malfunctioned.
